Hommely is a digital lifestyle magazine and product-discovery guide, made in Canada. Every issue mixes stories, how-tos, gift guides and small discoveries for the kitchen, the closet, the living room and the people you love.
We don't sell products and we don't run a store. When a story mentions something worth buying, we link to the retailer (such as Amazon.ca), and you buy from them directly. Your payment, shipping and returns are handled by that retailer.
Our story
From a small home shop to a magazine.
2021: it started with home goods
Hommely began in Loretto, Ontario as a small online home-goods business. Talking to customers every day taught us what people actually use, return, and rave about.
Then: more questions than orders
People kept asking us which gadget was worth it, what to gift, and how to fit more into a small kitchen. Answering those questions became the best part of the job.
Now: a magazine
So we turned Hommely into a magazine. We stopped selling and started writing: honest guides, plain words, and finds chosen only because they're good.
Always: Canadian
Canadian-owned since 2021, written for real Canadian homes: long winters, small condos, busy families and tight budgets.

How we choose what we write about.
It solves something real
A daily annoyance, a cluttered corner or a cold evening. If it only looks good in an ad, it doesn't make the issue.
We read before we recommend
We compare options and read hundreds of real reviews to separate the hype from the keepers. We tell you who each find is for, and what to know before you buy.
Brands don't pay for placement
No one can buy a spot in our guides. If that ever changes for a specific post, it will be clearly labelled "Sponsored".
We fix mistakes
Spotted something out of date? Tell us and we'll update the story and the date at the top.
